The 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT, equipped with the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Upgrade, is setting new benchmarks for speed and efficiency. Achieving 0-60 mph in a mere 3.3 seconds, it outpaces rivals like the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Porsche Macan 4 Electric. This model also boasts the ability to complete a quarter mile in just 11.8 seconds at 114 mph, making it the quickest Mustang Mach-E ever produced.
Enhanced Capabilities
The 2024 model introduces an innovative powertrain thermal modeling and control algorithm that, together with the new in-house eMotor, boosts torque by an impressive 100 lb. ft. from previous versions. This motor not only delivers increased power but also features reduced weight, enhancing overall vehicle performance and efficiency.
Improved Charging and Range
Ford has also focused on enhancing the charging capabilities of the Mustang Mach-E. The SUV with an extended range battery now charges nearly 20% faster, allowing drivers to achieve a 10-80% charge in approximately 36.2 minutes—an 8.8 minute improvement over earlier models. Standard range batteries see a reduction in charging time as well, emphasizing Ford’s commitment to convenience.
Access to Tesla Superchargers
In a significant network expansion, Ford electric vehicle drivers now have access to over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers through the BlueOval™ Charge Network. This access is complemented by new EV Routing functionality integrated into Google Maps and Apple Maps, and a Public Charging app, enhancing the ease of locating and connecting to charging stations.
